Safety

All companies preach about safety being #1 or first.  Few companies put in guidelines and expectations to ensure that the employees are echoing that message.  D&C believe that we are all responsible to ensure that everyone actually work safe.

"Tool Box Talk" 

It starts at the beginning of each day on every job site.  Whether that is at our shop or your jobsite/plant.  Our job leads ensure that everyone participates and understands the daily message that is tailored to that specific job.  There is also a more detailed safety that the entire company participates in each week.

"Take a Minute"

This is a quick guide to help our employees stop and think of what could go wrong at each location before any work is done.  This quick  (literally 1-2 mins) and easy look around makes everyone think safety before each task.

Accountability

Safety violations are more serious than any other violations at D&C.  We will write up and remove someone from our company over safety violations immediately.   For major violations there is a zero tolerance policy.  There is NEVER a reason to put yourself or anyone is danger for the sake of a job.

Rewards

We also have safety rewards that are given out through out the company.  Starting with weekly breakfast/lunch to profit sharing.
